Lille: Lille Grand Palais, 13-16 November 2026

In Lille, the 30th Salon des Vins des Vignerons Indépendants takes place from Friday 13 to Monday 16 November 2026 at Lille Grand Palais: 10 am-8 pm on Friday and Saturday, 10 am-7 pm on Sunday, 10 am-4 pm on Monday. With 518 winegrowers listed, it is the second-largest autumn fair by exhibitor count. Local news site actu.fr reports that it also draws visitors from Belgium, the Netherlands and England.

Paris Porte de Versailles wine fair: Pavilion 7.2, 10-13 December 2026

The 48th Salon des Vins des Vignerons Indépendants in Paris, the largest fair on the tour with 654 winegrowers listed, takes place from Thursday 10 to Sunday 13 December 2026 in Pavilion 7.2 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles (not Pavilion 3, as some websites still say): 10 am-8 pm Thursday to Saturday, 10 am-7 pm on Sunday.

In 2024, the OJS, the French body that certifies trade fair figures, counted 83,586 visits and 687 exhibitors there. New in 2026: a one-hour cocktail workshop (€25, entry included). To get there, Viparis lists metro line 12 (Porte de Versailles, exit 1), trams T2 and T3a and buses 80 and 39.

Rennes: Parc Expo Rennes Aéroport, 22-24 January 2027

The February 2026 edition had 550 winegrowers, per the official list, and the trade site Vitisphere described it in 2022 as the network's second most important fair.

Lyon Eurexpo: Hall 7.A, 5-7 March 2027

The 21st Salon des Vins des Vignerons Indépendants at Lyon Eurexpo, in Chassieu, runs from Friday 5 to Sunday 7 March 2027 in Hall 7.A: 2 pm-8 pm on Friday, 10 am-7 pm on Saturday, 10 am-6 pm on Sunday. It is smaller than the Halle Tony Garnier fair (110 winegrowers in 2026).

The Lyon tourist office gives two ways in: metro A then line 100 "Direct Eurexpo", or metro D then tram T5.

Bordeaux: Bordeaux Lac, 12-14 March 2027

In Bordeaux, the 28th Salon des Vins des Vignerons Indépendants runs from Friday 12 to Sunday 14 March 2027 at the Parc des expositions de Bordeaux Lac, Hall 3: 10 am-8 pm on Friday, 10 am-7 pm on Saturday, 10 am-6 pm on Sunday. Paris Champerret: Espace Champerret, 18-21 March 2027

The season's second Paris fair, the 34th Salon des Vins des Vignerons Indépendants at Paris Champerret, takes place at the Espace Champerret (17th arrondissement) from Thursday 18 to Sunday 21 March 2027: an opening evening session on Thursday from 6 pm to 10 pm, then 10 am-8 pm on Friday and Saturday, 10 am-6 pm on Sunday. The 2026 edition brought together 80 winegrowers, with a free cloakroom and a children's area.

Regional Vignerons Indépendants fairs: not part of the national tour

Dijon, Nancy, Colmar and Arras also host Vignerons Indépendants fairs, but outside the national tour: they are run by regional federations, with their own prices. Some of these federations organise fairs far from home: the Aquitaine federation in Nancy and Publier, the Occitanie federation in Colmar in 2025. A non-exhaustive list, based on what the federations and venues publish:

The Aquitaine federation also announces Luxembourg (27-31 January 2027) and lists Antwerp (16-18 April 2027). In Arras, the "Les Vins de TerroiR" fair in April is not part of the Vignerons Indépendants network.

Salon des Vignerons Indépendants tickets: €6 with a tasting glass

In 2026, full-price entry to the Salon des Vignerons Indépendants costs €6 at the five autumn fairs in France, as their official ticket sites and Lille Grand Palais show. The €3 reduced rate applies to groups of 10 or more and to wine students. Entry is free for under-18s, and the tasting glass is included.

Tickets are sold online on the official ticket site, through the "Billetterie" button on each fair's page (links in the table); the button does not yet appear on the pages of the 2027 fairs.

  • • Wine and spirits professionals: free entry at the "Pro" desk in exchange for a business card, says the organiser's page Des salons pas comme les autres. In Lyon and Hamburg, the press also gets in free.
  • • Viticulture and oenology students: the Halle Tony Garnier, the Lyon tourist office and the regional daily Sud Ouest announce free entry with proof of studies; the official ticket site only sells an "Étudiant en vin" (wine student) ticket at €3.
  • • Under-18s: free entry, but they must be accompanied by an adult; no glass for under-15s.
  • • Tickets can be neither exchanged nor refunded; no different price at the door is announced.
  • • 2027 fairs: prices not published yet. In February and March 2026, entry cost €6 in Strasbourg and Bordeaux, as reported by actu.fr and Sud Ouest.
  • The glass is an INAO tasting glass, in the organiser's text reproduced by the Halle Tony Garnier.

Free invitations to the Salon des Vignerons Indépendants: how they work

Free invitations to the Salon des Vignerons Indépendants come from the exhibiting winegrowers, who each get an unlimited number, electronic and paper, as the Confederation's page Exposez sur les salons states. Some wine estates post a link to the official ticket site on their website; registration is in your name and, for Paris 2026, gives access to one entry, with the option to add a companion.

The Confederation advises its exhibitors to send invitations three weeks to a month before opening: that is the time to check the websites of your favourite estates. The organiser's newsletter also mentions free invitations, with no guarantee. The format expected at the entrance (printed or on a phone) is not specified.

Exhibitor list (liste des exposants), floor plan and visit route

The exhibitor list for the Salon des Vignerons Indépendants is published on each fair's official page: 654 winegrowers for Paris, 421 for Lyon. It can be filtered by region, appellation, farming method (organic, biodynamic, HVE environmental certification), medal and price range, from under €10 to over €25, and each entry gives the stand number.

For the autumn fairs, the list can also be downloaded as an Excel file, with a "1er Salon" column that flags first-time exhibitors. The stand number matters, because all the stands are identical and the appellations are mixed, the organiser explains. So far, the floor plan has only been published for Clermont-Ferrand and Lyon; with an account, the "Parcours de visite" (visit route) feature saves your favourite winegrowers.

The medal filter refers to the Concours des Vignerons Indépendants, judged by consumers, which awarded 1,031 medals out of 3,700 samples in 2026, as the Confederation's results show.

Trolleys, loading area and shipping: taking your wine home

At the Clermont-Ferrand, Lyon, Lille and Paris Vignerons Indépendants fairs, trolleys are free for 1 hour 30 minutes, then cost €5; in Reims they are free, with no time limit stated. The organiser advises buying first, as winegrowers keep your cases on their stand, and then fetching a trolley. The loading area, open on presentation of an invoice, is not a car park.

To bring your car close, the 2026 official pages point to the north-east gate at 2 avenue Debourg in Lyon; rue Javary, at the end of aisle E behind the hall, in Lille; the underground car park on rue Serge Gainsbourg in Clermont-Ferrand; and the area around the exhibition centre in Paris, invoice in hand.

GEODIS, the organiser's partner, handles home delivery. In Lyon, Clermont-Ferrand and Lille, the 2026 price list runs from €21 for 3 bottles (first zone) to €106 for 54 bottles (third zone). The three zones are drawn on a map of France: we found no rate for shipping abroad. In Paris, pre-registering on the GEODIS app gives priority access to its stand.

On site, the organiser lists sit-down catering and a sandwich bar, plus stands of regional produce. Cloakroom: €2 per hanger in Lyon, Lille and Paris. Animals are not allowed, except assistance dogs and small dogs carried in a bag (not in Lille).

How to prepare your visit and buy well

At the Salon des Vins des Vignerons Indépendants, tasting everything is impossible: depending on the city, from around 70 to 654 winegrowers exhibit, and the stands are not grouped by region. So plan your visit before you go, using the exhibitor list, then take it step by step on the day:

  • • Shortlist: filter by region, appellation, medal and price, note the stand numbers, save a visit route.
  • • Set a budget: some estates publish their fair prices online. The Lyon daily Le Progrès noted prices from under €10 to over €25 in Lyon in 2025, and Sud Ouest put the average bottle price at the 2026 Bordeaux fair at close to €17.
  • • Spit: each stand has a spittoon, per the equipment list published in 2024 by the Centre-Val de Loire federation.
  • • Learn: free tasting introductions take place in Clermont-Ferrand, Lyon, Lille and Paris.
  • • Pick your time slot: no peak hours are published; the Thursday evening openings (Lyon, Champerret) and Monday openings (Reims, Lille, Strasbourg) widen the choice.
  • • Payment and getting home: the organiser does not say which payment methods are accepted, so check with the estates on your list; to get home, use public transport or a driver who is not drinking.
  • Winegrowers' fair or supermarket foire aux vins: what's the difference

At the Salon des Vins des Vignerons Indépendants, each stand is run by the winegrower in person, with no sales staff or agents, the organiser says: you taste, buy from the producer with no middleman, and leave with your cases. A supermarket foire aux vins, by contrast, offers a selection negotiated by the retailer for a few weeks.

The line is not clear-cut: Le Figaro Vin reported in 2025 that Carrefour had 15% independent winegrowers in its range, and 20% in its foire aux vins. The paper advises looking for the words "Mis en bouteille à la propriété" (bottled at the estate); the logo of the Vigneron Indépendant collective brand appears on the capsule or the label.

For winegrowers: who can exhibit and how to register

The tour's fairs are reserved exclusively for Vignerons Indépendants, the Confederation says: estates that grow their own vines, then make, bottle and sell their own wine. Winegrowers join through the federation of their département; the Confederation claims around 7,000 members on its website.

Registration opens every year in mid-May for the following season: on 13 May 2026 for 2026-2027, per the Centre-Val de Loire federation. Returning exhibitors register and pay directly on the members' extranet; newcomers submit a request and are contacted afterwards. Places were sought after in 2021, when Vitisphere wrote that you sometimes had to wait for a dropout, and the selection criteria are not public.

    The same stand for everyone

The stated principle is fairness between exhibitors: every winegrower gets the same turnkey stand (counter, stools, sign, a fridge shared between two), transport of one pallet from the cellar (except in Reims and Nogent-sur-Marne), insurance and unlimited invitations. The stand price only appears in the members' area.

What the fairs mean for winegrowers' sales

The fairs matter to exhibitors: 25% of independent winegrowers' turnover in 2025, in Le Figaro Vin's figures, and "up to 30%" for the president of the Anjou-Saumur federation, quoted in 2023 by Vitisphere.

The Confederation handles registrations in its own extranet; its head of fairs, quoted in February 2025 by L'Écho du Mardi, put attendance at its 13 annual fairs at around 400,000 visitors. Regional federations and the organisers of smaller wine fairs face the same steps: answering winegrowers' applications, placing each one on the floor plan and keeping exhibitors informed of every change. French trade show management software such as Keyqo, specialised in exhibitor management and floor plans, brings these steps together in a single tool.
